KATERINA TANA COLLECTION–LOOM was launched in Venice Beach, California in 2009, to share my passion for textiles and surface design, and deep regard for handcraft traditions,
The collection speaks for our time, the present rather than the past. It celebrates the glories of the natural world that abound in California: the glowing light, palette and motifs, where the chaparral meets the Pacific Ocean.
It draws inspiration from the local flora and fauna, crystal blue skies and deep tones of the Pacific.
Our small-batch production requires a variety of quality-driven processes including: dye-printing, yarn-dyeing, custom weaving and hand scree printing.
